Welcome to Potato Growers of Alberta Research Application Portal
The Alberta Potato Research Fund is a program with two separate funding streams. The goal of the Potato Growers of Alberta Research Grant is to invest in Potato Research which will directly benefit the Alberta Growers. The second stream, the Alberta Potato Investment Fund (APIF) is a partnership comprised of four organizations (Cavendish Farms, Lamb Weston, McCain Foods and Potato Growers of Alberta) who contribute jointly to research and development projects to further western Canada’s potato industries. We will begin accepting new project proposals April 1, 2026.
